The following pages provide information about my current and former research projects.

I am currently leading a research project entitled ‘And the winner is…. !? The battle for the most impactful framing of election results between media and politics in multi-party systems’, which is funded by the  Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).

I am also engaged in several projects involving the 2024 European Parliament elections and concerning the personalization of politics, respectively.

My former projects include the relationship between European Union representatives and their represented by means of studying opinion congruence, news about the European Parliament and its members, and the internationally collaborative research project ‘Observatory of Parliaments after Lisbon’ (OPAL).

Finally, I am involved in the co-supervision of several PhD projects about disinformation, public broadcasting, and European border policies.
